We wanted to update everyone on Alex's progress. He is a good eater as his weight will show. There is a lactation support group that meets at the hospital on Thursdays that Alex and I have been attending, mostly because I can weigh him which is a good indicator that he's eating well. We thought for sure that we had gained weight since last week and the scales don't lie. Last week he weighed 6.8 lbs and this week (seven days later) he weighed 7.3 lbs. This is a great indicator that he is thriving and doing well. He will be 3 weeks old tomorrow.
We get these sweet little smiles ever so often. That just make our hearts melt!!
This was taken today after we had our weigh in. You really can't tell it here but he is working on a serious double chin.
