We noticed this morning that some of the spots had bluish purple centers on his feet, legs and arms and he had even more spots. We called the pediatrician and they wanted us to bring him in again. They are saying that he has erythema multiforme minor (EMM) which he said is like a severe case of urticaria. Bad news is that it has to run its course and it can last for 2 - 4 weeks. They think its a result of a cold virus. It's not contagious but I don't know if we will be taking him back to daycare until the rash is for sure clearing up. Good news....the first place that we noticed the rash is looking better so maybe its going to take a couple of days from the time we see an area until it starts getting better.
By the way....I had his weight wrong from Thursday. He weighed 13lbs and 14 oz and today he weighed 14 lbs.
